What is his position when it comes to alliances? I know he was pulled into one of the early ones by Paloma I think, but where did he land once that blew up?
Michael and Kyle have been pretty tight since their time in the Paloma alliance. Michael, Kyle and Brittany have also been talking, and even formed an alliance called the Outsiders. Michael and Brittany are also really tight with Taylor, and I am just lumping Taylor in with the Outsiders even though she isn't officially in it because Michael, Brittany and her are basically a threesome. And then Michael is now a part of the Leftovers alliance that formed last night/this morning.

And does Turner have to nominate a replacement “pair”? Like he can’t nominate Taylor and Ameerah, it would have to be Ameerah and Terrance? Is that the plan or is Taylor still possibly in trouble?
Turner has to nominate a pair, so it'll be Ameerah & Terrence.

I figured Kyle would go far early on. They pegged him as the “wild and crazy” guy in his intro, but the more he stopped playing that character he’s a pretty down to earth normal dude. Similar to the way they painted Tyler as the “dumb surfer” guy but he was just a regular guy and smart as hell about the game. Definitely think he’s the front runner at this point.
Yeah I agree, and I like your comparison with Tyler. He's also similar with Tyler in the way he tries to connect with individual people one on one on a personal level, and doesn't use his one on ones for game talk. He does a real good job of making people feel like he really cares about what they are saying, similar to how Tyler did. Now Kyle isn't piling up final 2s like Tyler did in BB20, but it's still early in the game.
One big difference between the two is that Tyler was a huge super fan coming into the game so he knew what he needed to do going into the house. Kyle is a recruit so he's basically relying on his natural intuition (for a lack of a better word) as he goes. Luckily BB20 was one of the few seasons he watched all the way through while in sequester, so there's that.

then literally three seconds later they show all of the house guest hugging one another
with elections coming up in a few months .... CBS knows exactly what they're doing with shite like that

Watching tonight's episode reminds me of why I only watch the actual show when there's going to be an exciting eviction for something huge that I didn't catch on the live feeds. The alliance that Alyssa ratted out that freaked Kyle out was Old Skool (which the show hasn't even mentioned it yet, unless I missed it), not the girls alliance. They just totally leave out what is the major alliance running the house. The show is edited to the point to where it almost is a totally different show than the live feeds.

wait..... CBS editing and chopping up something in order to show the audience only what they want them to see or believe? no way!!!
they do it every single day on all of their talk shows and "news" programs as well. it's all about editing and lying about what truly happened in order to promote what they want.
remember a few years ago on the Big Brother season with Bayleigh and Swaggy C? ... Bayleigh was one of the rudest and most hated house guest (and the live feeds proved it), but CBS lied and painted her as America's Sweetheart
they even went as far as to rig the audience members on eviction night to give her a over the top, roaring, and standing ovation

That's why I focus on the feeds and not as much as the shows.
I mean, I get that they want to portray their character's in a certain way, and form storylines that are entertaining for tv audiences and all that. But them completely leaving out major plot points just irks me.

So the aftermath of the veto ceremony this afternoon should have the feeds lit up like Christmas. Ameerah (or anyone outside of the Leftovers has absolutely no idea that she's about to hit the block, and when she does the scramble should be epic.
The only immediate concern that Kyle, Monte & Michael have is that they are worried the POs Pack alliance will be revealed by Ameerah's scrambling, so they wanted to give the Leftovers the heads up about the POs Pack alliance just in case Ameerah throws that out there. Kyle and Monte were supposed to fill in Joseph & Turner and Michael was supposed to give Brittany the heads up, but Michael was the only one to get a chance to do it. Ameerah was stuck to Joseph all night and Alyssa was up all night thirsting after Kyle so they never got the chance to fill in Joseph and Turner.
But with all that said, I'm expecting some fun feeds this afternoon.

Feeds are back from the veto ceremony, and tears are being had. Feeds came back to Indy in the bathroom balling, Ameerah, Terrence, Jasmine, Alyssa, Michael, & Brittany in the back bedroom with Jasmine tearing up, Terrence saying he's going to tell everyone to vote for him to go, and Ameerah in shock. Then everyone leaves and Ameerah and Terrence talk one on one with Ammeerah breaking down in tears. The aftermath of the blindside is definitely paying off.
ETA: Oh, this fallout is on the FOUTTE level of fallout. They were totally blindsided, and are scrambling trying to figure out what is going on. Only thing missing right now is JC running around instigating stuff.

The Leftover alliance of Turner, Kyle, Monte, Joseph, Taylor, Michael, and Brittany are about to wreck shop.
Nicole and Daniel are in shambles. Alyssa is useless except for obsessing over Kyle. Indy is there to look pretty. Jasmine is a chronic liar with no self awareness. Terrance is worthless.
It’s going to be a steam roll but it’s going to be so entertaining because of all the intermingling alliances. The fall apart of Po’s pack will be class.

Aw man.. Just able to catch up on this thread. Looks like some good shite happening in the house that will make for great drama and play. Can't wait to see Ameerah melt on tomorrow episode.

The best thing about yesterday was that the Old Skool & Girls Girls (they are both kind of all pooled together) were all blaming each other for what happened, and never once pointed their figures at anyone in the Leftovers. Ameerah was even saying that Turner "accidently" put her up. It was glorious.
