I read on Survivor Sucks that she has told people in the house that she was encouraged by friends and family to to start posting motivational pics on instagram or twitter of the different jobs she's done. She apparently had around 10,000 followers already before she went into the house. So I'd imagine they found her through social media.

The power allows him to “sit in the cloud” at one nom or veto ceremony and prevent himself from going up.
