Rumor has it they're gonna give a pool of 30-50 people and let America vote who is cast.

I hope they have some age variety and not a bunch of people who are just there to use the show as a catapult to fame.

Also, no old house guests (particularly from recent seasons) or relatives of house guests.

Proof that BB fandom is really diverse. I would debate even watching a season if Donny came back.

He wasn't a great player, he was just one of the only people that season that I liked as a human.

I'm good with old house guests because some might have been 40 watching season 1. It'd be cool to see an old guy come in playing dumb but having been watching since day 1 and out play everyone

i think we were talking "former" house guests. Not "old" age wise.

Count me in as someone who'd like to see:

1) a greater age range among the cast

It's become unrelatable when everyone is 18-23. Also, people that age are stupid and make for bad game players.

2) for them to stop "headhunting" for people to place on the cast and go back to taking real applicants

Please no more fake-arse wanna-be-famous douchebags like Paul.

3) find some way to screen out people just looking to use the show as a springboard to e-stardom.

See above. Last season on After Dark ALL they talked about was how this was going to enhance their Twitter and Instagram followings. It was clear that's the only reason most of that cast was on the show; they straight-up admitted it. Made for the lamest After Dark in the show's history.

They have mentioned that they are not going to recruit anyone and only cast people who want to play the game. Now if that actually happens, who knows, but I sure hope it does.

paul turned into one of the best house guests tho.

So far in this thread yall don't want:

young people
older aged people
returning house guests
family members of house guests
people who are recruited
people who enjoy the spotlight

even though the above list makes up 80% of each season, and 95% of the entertainment from the season.

I think it would be great if they had young people AND older people. My problem is that the last few seasons have had an average age of 21 and an average IQ of 70.

Returning house guests and family members of house guests are lame, lazy and gimmicky.

Recruiting results in inauthentic, vapid cast members that are a millimeter deep and don't know the game at all.

People who enjoy the spotlight are great. I want to see people ham it up for fun. But there's a big difference between that and ONLY going on the show to get more Instagram followers. Being attention seeking is okay, being a totally contrived personality who doesn't even like Big Brother and is just enduring their time in the house to cash in on product placement deals on their social media once they're out is not.

I would be happy if they would provide more alcohol. A bunch of drunk strangers competing for money, is the key for excitement
