This back door shite is dumb. This is the first season I've watched but I'm not a fan of a loophole that constantly prevents targets from even having a chance to save themselves.
Alexs HOH has gone exactly how Josh's went.
Start of the week "Man I don't care how much they want to get Cody/Jessica out, Elena is my target and that's who I want out."
End of the week "you know, Paul really knows what's right so I'll just do what he wants instead."

I'm sure its been said...but this show is horrible this year.
This week is a perfect example of how bad these fools in the house are.
ELENA pisses off the HOH in a veto comp and makes her do punishment and also takes 5K from her....
MATT wins Veto while on the block, but chooses not to take himself down?
I mean this is gawd awful....in previous years the HOH or members of the house would target one of those fools for sure and send them packing, keeping the BIGGEST TARGET in the house for possibly just 1 more week. When you have those shots to take a shot you take them! Cody will always be the "easy get"...for instance...knowing the Double Evict is coming up(the HGs know)...they just use the DE to get Cody duh...take the shot at Elena or Matt then without a huge shakeup you take your shot at Cody.
Alex holds the cards...she keeps her and Jason safe by keeping Cody around. He goes after Matt/Raven/Paul and she wins...they still have numbers and his chance of winning an HOH is slim. This is by far the worse season I have watched. Terrible, the biggest group of idiots they have ever put together, but I also think its the world we live in these days that also is creating this. So many people are fricking pussys! Play the game! Everyone wants to "not rock the boat" and play the "easy way"...smfh! Anyone watching right now that will be on for years to come better recognize if you keep the vet around you are in trouble!

I hate it. I started watching maybe like 5-6 years ago so I wasn't around for the early seasons but I feel liek the backdoor really only gained huge prevalance of late, like in the last few years.
I certainly understand the rationale behidn it, but nowadays it's the primary method and not just something used here and there. "Oh, person A is my #1 main target. Absolutely"...but then doesn't put them on the block. It's friggin stupid. If someone is your #1 target, put their arse up.

Agreed. Someone here earlier had a great idea to make veto comps random and unexpected. So the HOH would have to really think about their decisions and outcomes based on two different possibilities. Would force everyone to play harder.
HGs already have too much information about when DEs will be etc. Need to make things less predictable for HGs and viewers IMO

They should really give Xmas' old scooter to Paul . . . it's got to be difficult walking around with 6 players stuck so far up his arse! It couldn't be any worse if it was someone like Justin Bieber in there calling the shots. Enough with the black fingernail they are copying because Paul does it . . . I'm usually a sunshine pumper for the show the past two seasons I've posted in these threads, but this cast is beyond pumping, they are terrible.
I guess Cody is the "underdog," but he really isn't very likable. Go back and read the comments about him the first week or so and see how many people hated him. He only got popular when he got bullied.
Paul might be playing the best game, but his shite would never fly any other season. It's embarrassing for the cast, producers, and the show what they are letting him do. He literally controls their thoughts, and uses them like animals.
The rest of the cast have zero redeeming qualities, and are just generally terrible people, even Kevin started sucking as a person.
The flaws in the cast could be ignored if they were playing the game, but they aren't and it's terrible. I would love to stop watching, but I'm not giving into Paul, and I'm sticking it out, I'm just pissed this season was ruined. Not friendship.

Cody came off as too blunt and aggressive towards nearly everyone those first few weeks, but really, he was just seeing from the day Paul entered the house what took us a couple extra weeks to figure out.
Terrible social game, but he was dead on about Production Paul brainwashing these losers, and after the grueling two months of watching this shite, Cody looks like Nostrodomus now.

Yeah he is right about Paul, but that doesn't make him not a tool. His crappy social game comes from being a self-righteous prick with no personality.
Spotting Paul's BS is the only decent game move he had, every other move he's made was the wrong one, and even the way he attempted to get rid of Paul was wrong.
I was rooting for him and Jess the last few weeks just because of how shitty the house is to them though, and for the fact that no one else will stand up to Paul.

I'm not even looking forward to the DE tonight. I'll watch but really the only way to assure that someone from the majority gets taken out is if Mark wins HOH. Even Elena I could see talking with Paul before making her decision what to do.
The only chance this season has of rebounding; Mark taking out Paul tonight and setting up for people to pick a side instead of asking Paul for permission to make a move. I say this knowing that if Paul goes, everyone will likely turn to Christmas.

After the fight Elena had with Josh yesterday, she seems entrenched back with Mark and they both agreed they needed to put Paul and Alex up.
And I think Alex becomes the lead dog if Paul is voted out.

Yeah, I'm not disagreeing he can't be a bit of an a-hole (nor disagreeing that he has zero social game skills other than being a comp beast), but assholes come in many shapes and varieties as this season clearly taught us. Those early BB episodes really set him up as the mean anti-paul while giving us all the pro-paul highlight reels.
I don't remember much of the feeds once they started this season, but he didn't seem like that mean of a guy. Yeah, he made fun of Josh...everyone did though Paul was the guy in going room-to-room telling everyone the latest joshism...and he made the tranny comment, but later I think Paul made a similar comment.
It all came down to the social game. PP gets away with being an a-hole because he talks talks talks so much that people forget 90% of the same self-righteous and a-hole things that Cody says. Cody makes once those statements once or twice then let's them go, but people harped on him cause he said once or twice and they didn't get lost in the sea of rabble that some like PP produces.
And the edits are becoming really terrible this season. Last episode was such bullshite with that made up Alex thinking about flipping on Elena BS. Production wants mystery, intrigue, and the idea that anything could happen during their prime time shows, but when you can constantly live stream this show or watch bbad, the reality of the game is completely misrepresented by the actual show.
