Probably production telling Paul all about them. He isn't called.Production Paul for nothing lol
Still probably true, but also what the said about him figuring it from Julie asking her questions.
Paul knows she has the hex, time to put mark and Elena. Wait the hex out will getting rid of those two

Would she jeopardize using It on Mark and Elena???
If 1 of those 4 won HOH they would keep the power..could be worth it and they would rally some power and could go after Paul.
If they don't use it, then yeah they save it for another week...but begin to lose numbers

paul thinks she is BSing about the temptation. jess doing a good job of casting doubt by repeating that production wont let her talk about it.

Just disappointed Jess let emotions get the best of her and revealed she had the Hex. Especially since she should have already mentally prepared for it with Kevin tipping her off.
Now Paul has time to think it through and figure out his move. He already started his BS last night telling them it wasn't a move against them to get Ramses out lol. What a fricking nerd. Just own it dude.
And now he will sell his wasted HOH as some huge sacrifice to his group. "I knew they weren't going home but I gave up my week of power for the better of the group" blah blah. They just keep handing this guy the game at every turn.
And he isn't even that good. The better play would have been to throw HOH once just he and Maven were left so that he could compete in the next HOH against whichever Jody member was left since his alliance sucks and never wins shite.
But no, he wanted the look at me moment when he could jump around like a sprite and not only steal the eviction but take HOH too. It was an emotional decision by him that was negated by Jess' even worse emotional frick up.
Oh well, this was just Paul's from the get go.

But really, Paul can't lose in this situation right? Doesn't the Halting Hex mean that the whole week resets as is if it never happened?
So, Jess and Cody go up, she uses it live, and Paul is right back with another chance to win HoH while Jess has to sit out - this time without protection.
As long as Paul keeps the plan to get one of them out and can drag Mark and Elena back into the fold with promises that he is only targeting Jess or Cody, he has a successful week.
ETA: All of this is probably wrong. If the halting hex just stops the eviction and that's it, then I'm full of crap. I still don't know what that thing does.

As Mrs Voodoo and I were watching last night, she kind of blew my mind by asking, "Why don't Jess and Cody just call everyone together and say hey we changed our minds we want to get Ramses out" after Kevin warned her.
It actually would have been a pretty amazing play. You steal Paul's thunder, make the HOH not seem nearly as important and even pretend to be excited if Paul wins because hey we're all on the same team right!!
Then keep the Hex secret and only reveal it if they flip on you.
Would have been a very interesting play

Because they are ego maniacs, they want to RUN the house from the bottom.

You are mad that Paul is playing the game correctly and very well?
Jess and Cody are terrible players.

Yes I agree but they are terrible players and are getting dominated mentally in the house.

I immediately thought he should put up Mark and Elena, but this is a good point. Flush out the temptation and win HoH again.

I don't think she would. They're too self-centered to use it on anybody but themselves. That's why I think Paul shouldn't waste his HOH trying to force her hand. Just take out her support players Mark first, then Elena.
She might use the hex on the last week but at least it'll be on Elena, but they'll just be down to their trio against the whole house.
It would be a very dumb move for Paul to waste his HOH when he must really know Jessica has the hex and he can't play for HOH next week.
But we're assuming the hex completely resets the week and doesn't just halt the eviction ending Paul's HOH where he would not be able to compete again.

The halting hex just stops the eviction, it's not a reset week. So I'm thinking that not only will there not be an eviction, but the HOH (Paul) shouldn't be able to compete in the next HOH comp (although would it surprise anyone if production says that since no one was evicted, Paul can play since we are talking about Paul?).

I thought it was a decent move to throw it out there and try to create some paranoia. I think she should have done it the prior day and just acted like she didn't care who they voted out because she had the temptation that protected her and Cody for a few weeks. That way, it may have made the other second guess their decision to get Ramses out.
Paul will call her bluff and put her and Cody up and force her to play it though. It would have worked better on Raven or Christmas or Matt had they won HOH.

He knows she has it, but he's doesn't know what it is. He thinks that she is bluffing that it's as powerful as she claimed (being able to save her and Cody for multiple weeks). He said if it's something like she said where she can take down two noms, then he'll just put Mark & Elena up in their place. He currently isn't even thinking that it kills the eviction all together.
BTW, he was saying that worst case is that she has a "cume d'etat" (instead of coup d'état). He kept calling it that several times.

Not much discussion here about the temptation curse. This curse should change the game and prevent Paul from completely running the house.
If you know your going on the block, (Cody, Jess, Mark, Elana) why would you not play in this comp?
You win and you're safe. You lose and you have to put yourself as a 3rd nominee. I'd rather be 1 of 3 nominated then 1 of 2 nominated

Good call. It also may have freaked Paul out trying to figure out who leaked the plan. Could have gotten them turning on each other.
Because nothing fires Paul up like someone doing something he doesn't specifically authorize.
Dom asks too many questions in her show? frick you you are out even though Jess is the bigger threat and likely Cody coming back.
Ramses doesn't try hard enough to throw a veto I tell him to? frick you you are out instead of the annoying psycho that everyone hates that will now be trapped in the jury house.
Dude is the definition of a Napoleonic complex.

Doesn't Christmas still have a temptation she can use? I forgot exactly what hers was again. Ring of replacement, what did it do exactly?

No, I'm mad that there isn't anyone else in the house with two brain cells to rub together.
As for him playing correctly and very well, we won't know that until the end. He has nine people around him that all know he is running the show, as opposed to the truly great players that plant seeds and let other people feel like they are in on the ideas and planning instead of just submitting to what he says is best.
If any of them ever decide to start playing their own game he will be the obvious target once there are no more "outsiders" to pick off.
I'm also mad because that little half sperm is just annoying and he jumps around like a sprite and acts like he just won a heavyweight title fight after winning a true false competition
