I would love it if Cody came back... man that would make for great feeds... especially if Jess goes home next week.

Alex, Elena and Paul spent a good bit talking in the HOH room. They ended up guessing pretty close to what Christmas' temptation gift was. Elena said I bet it's a guarantee that she can play in the veto. They're still unsure.

Elena leaves out and Alex says she wants to backdoor Mark and Paul agrees he needs to go but thinks Dom is the more important target. So they decide Dom needs to go and if somehow she pulls herself down then Mark will replace her as a backdoor. Paul says he's gonna have to tell the others downstairs who Alex is thinking of getting rid of and the only person they think is convincing is Kevin.

frick this show if Jess goes anywhere near the block this week.

If Alex is too much of a pussy to try to split up the huge power block, then this summer truly is over.

It looks like Alex is pretty much set on nominating Jess and Dom, but Dom is the actual target. Alex and Paul were just discussing it, and Paul said if she takes a shot here at Dom, then they have to take her out. They went over the votes they were fairly confident with, and they think they have them as it stands today to get Dom out.

ETA: Looks like Cody was successful in screwing Dom's game up as he was going out the door.

That all sounds great but I think Alex is getting completely played by Paul.

Those girls went bananas when Xmas got put up on the block. They aren't going to roll over on Dom. They are just trying to get Alex to waste an HOH by not putting up two of their numbers so one is guaranteed to go home.

I'll believe it when I see it, but if Jess is on the block, this is just another easy vote for the power alliance in my book with Paul and CBS trying to trick viewers into thinking it could actually be interesting and billing it as a blindside of the HOH.

No way in hell Paul keeps Cody's only ally in the game knowing the chances of a buy back happening.

Jess is going home. So exciting

I agree. Alex is getting played if she agrees to put Jess up. No way she survives against Dom or Mark on the block next to her. But maybe she's the one playing Paul. Guess we'll see.

If she really wants Dom gone, she needs to put Mark or Matt or Raven next to her.

Actually, I really don't think Paul would mind if Cody comes back into the game. Cody told him last night that Paul is nowhere on his radar if he comes back. Cody wants revenge on the people that abandoned him, and I think Paul may be the only person in the house besides Alex that he respects. Paul knows that Jess isn't coming for him anytime soon, so it doesn't make any sense for him to want her out at this point in the game.

I'm not too sure about that. Paul and Alex seem to actually want to work together. Outside of Kevin, I think he might trust her more than anyone else in the house right now. They even solidified an alliance name last night (AMF or A squared MF or some crap). It wouldn't surprise me at all if Paul genuinely wants to work with Alex behind the scenes.

Now with all of that said, I'm not saying that this is a good move for Alex. The best move Alex could've made was make a deal for her and Jason when they were on the wall, and let Elena take it. Alex wasn't in any real danger this week. Take this HOH just makes her BB life that much harder. But I also understand that she can't just take an outright shot at the showmances right now since she can't play in next week's HOH, and she doesn't know Cody is most likely coming back. She has to try and take out an outlier from the big alliance (like Xmas or Dom) with the cover of pinning the hinky vote on them. And putting Jess up is just an olive branch to reinforce to the other couples in the alliance that she is on their side.

Again, I'm not saying this is the best move for her, but there really is no real good long term move for her outside of not taking the HOH to begin with.

I don't disagree with that. Cody becomes a target that keeps the focus off of him for more weeks.

But he still wouldn't want Cody having a guaranteed vote in Jess for when the time comes they have to go against each other again.

He would want Cody all alone and dependent on him.

I don't care if they made an alliance name, if he "thinks" he can get the votes, blah blah. Matt and Mark are betas and will vote with what their women tell them to do. So unless Paul is absolutely certain he can get Elena and Raven to turn on one of their girls, it's all just talk and Alex is falling for his schtick just like everyone else has.

Alex should say ok I won't put up Elena or Raven because I don't want to risk upsetting the guys too, but Xmas has to be a pawn. That block has already proven they won't stab her in the back.

If the target is Dom, put Xmas up as pawn. Otherwise, it's too easy for the votes to go against Jess and ruin Alex's HOH and blow up her game. If Paul doesn't acknowledge that, Alex should know right away he is playing her.

It's a stupid move if Alex puts up Jess. Period.

Getting Dom out isn't really good for anyone's game. She's a non-factor so far in this game. This has the appearance of a wasted HOH if Dom is evicted.

And right now, if she's next to Jess on Thursday, I think Jess goes home. But once again I'm probably overestimating the intelligence of these people. Paul pushing to get Dom out should send red flags up in everyone on that side. Surely one of them will pick up on it? While Paul think it's good for his game, it's really not.

So whenever Xmas goes on the block she can't even most likely play in the veto. They need to take advantage of that

I bet production hated Cody. No telling what he told them off camera in the DR. I have no doubt that he told them all off I don't blame him one bit

Yeah, which is why I expect them to come up with a Battle Back challenge that is pure chance. Like that one a few seasons ago that the boring black girl won(sorry my memory is shot. Forget the season and her name).

Everyone is a non factor in this house. Besides Alex and Paul, have any of them won anything yet?

I'd take out Raven right, if I were in Alex's position. Just can't win against muh dying.

I would like to see Cody and Paul in final 2, with Paul hopefully coming in second again.
