I want him to do whatever it takes to stick around as long as possible.
The shame is that if it was a feedsters only vote, Kevin would win America's favorite barring a complete meltdown or racist outburst later in the season. He's that loved.
I hope that the show captures the greatness that is Kevin.

Floating isn't the same as coasting. Just because he's actively playing both sides doesn't mean he's a bad player.

Matt and Elena picked to play Veto. Cody was not picked or replaced.So the Veto players are Paul, Josh, Alex, Ramseys, Matt, and Elena. Paul is trying to get Ramseys to throw it. They are all thinking it is the spelling comp.
Cody's only chance now is if Ramseys wins it and uses it on himself. If it were me, i'd throw it. Cody has about as big of a target on his back as you can get and he'd piss off both Paul's side for screwing up his backdoor plan and Alex's side for making a move that got her evicted over Cody.

At this point he's great as a character but I don't see him being a strong player.
I go back to BB Canada this past season. Karen was a great character, on feeds and the show. She was also 50+ in age. She won nothing and ended up being taken to the final two because no one would vote for her to win based solely off her personality.
I view Kevin the same way. He can make it far based off personality, but he'll never win the game unless he wins comps.

Why don't the downfalls of the temptation affect anything. It's not a temptation if you know nothing bad can happen to you, it's an advantage or care package. You get to receive something beneficial to you, and hurt another player....that's not temptation, that's production friendship

The negative is supposed to be it could piss the rest of the house off, like how Cody tried to spin Paul's safety, and that you can't get another one later in the game if you need it. It's been pretty meh so far with having negative consequences, but it's still early.

Kevin could have gone home for his temptation. He was not safe until Paul made him safe.
