Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F trailer

Trailer makes it seem like they kept it traditional. I'm def in.

"Everybody safe?" "Middle seat doesn't have a seat belt".

I really enjoyed it. Loved that it was filmed in 80’s/90’s style. Bringing back the old soundtrack hit me right in the feels too.

First 15-20 minutes felt off to me. It was like Eddie was trying to remember how to be Axel. Judge Reinhold just sounded like he was on about three xanax bars. But it picked up when they got to Beverly Hills. I liked the actress playing Axel's daughter. I feel like she was someone you could believe was related to Axel without being over the top. Didn't hurt that she is finer than frog hair.

Kevin Bacon as a heavy is always quality imo.

I enjoyed the hell out of this. Lots of fan service and Axel being Axel. Eddie Murphy had aged very gracefully.

I thought this was going to be a disaster, but it actually was quite good.

I really wish this would have been released in theaters though. This film deserved a big screen and with the success Bad Boys 4 just had, this would have probably done quite well.

I also couldn't believe how much energy John Ashton had, despite looking terrible. The new batch of sidekicks also did quite well. JGL is good in everything and, although the Jane actress (Taylour Paige) can't really act, she was

With the atrocity that Coming 2 America was and Dolomite wasn't much better, this is really good return to form for Eddie Murphy.

We watched it last night, wasn't bad. Close enough to the originals in tone and style to take advantage of the nostalgia. Axel's daughter was fine. JGL was good. Two thumbs up.
Obligatory shots of Taylour Paige, ex Laker girl.

We watched this last night "cheesy" yes but it wasn't bad for a Netflix movie.
