Funny story:
I have never seen an episode of 90210 in my life but my wife was interested in checking it out as a 90’s girl.
Before it started, she said “I wonder which character they are going to make gay in the reboot? I bet it’s Andrea.”
It’s 2019 and an ensemble cast. Someone has to be gay. She nailed it.

Wife and I started watching and we’re big fans. This might be the worst show I’ve ever seen.... a fake reality show? Who decided to pay for this crap.... feel like I’ve been totally duped thinking it was same characters in same storyline but 20 years later.

Ok, I’ll be the silver lining guy.
I have to admit i thought WTF just like everyone else when it started.
But once they got onto the plane I actually started to get a bit of the feels.
Then the ending with Tori and Jennie watching the episode with Dylan and Brandon completely sold me on seeing where they want to go with it.
I still wish they would have done a straight reboot, but maybe this is leading to that.
I just have too much love for the show these actors made such a big part of all of our lives to not give them a shot.
I love these old bloated, wrinkled bastards.

Yes, Jennie Garth is still a gorgeous piece of arse. I guess I should have expected all the ultra progressive bullshite storylines with Andrea batting for the other team and the mixed relationships. I now recall the original series dabbling in all those issues but in the 90’s it wasn’t near as “in your face” as it is now. I predict Brandon and Kelly will again hook up. You kind of already see that pent up horny frustration in both of them.
What baffles me here is how the producers have so far given the dominant role to Tori Spelling who is probably the least talented of any of the cast members. I guess it’s daddy’s money talking.
Jennie Garth and Ian Ziering are the two that haven’t aged nearly as much as the others. I’m sure they had a lot of help from their personal plastic surgeons but for the most part they look just like they did in the original series.
