Is there any debate that the best 1-2 episode Seinfeld side character is Mr. Bookman, the library investigator?

Soup Nazi. Guy is still making a career off of that.

Jackie isn't a one off and you can't count the finale as well. Bookman for all intents and purposes is a one off. Jackie was in multiple episodes

The pool guy that wanted to be friends with Jerry was the weirdest.

Bookman OP got 4 upvotes and so did Soup Nazi guy.
So it looks like there is a debate.

My favorite random Seinfeld character is the guy at jiffy park, and jiffy dump, same guy.

George deals with him at the parking lot when hookers are turning tricks in his car.

And he doesn’t let Kramer dump the muffin tops in his dump during the J peterman tour bus.

Bookman is a good one though.

Soup Nazi episode is better and he’s more memorable I guess but Bookman is just a better character imo.

PBH is GOAT and he killed that role.

Elaine's dad portrayed by Lawrence Tierney and was intended to be a recurring character.

quote:

they were frightened of him; during filming it was discovered that Tierney had stolen a butcher knife from the knife block in Jerry's apartment set.[4][9] Various cast members remember Seinfeld encountering Tierney and stating "Hey Lawrence, what do you got there in your jacket?".[3] Tierney, realizing he had been caught, tried to make a joke about how he thought taking the knife would be funny, by reenacting a scene from Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), holding the knife above his head and making threatening motions towards Seinfeld.[4][10] Tom Cherones, Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus saw this happen, and, as Alexander recalled, it "scared the living crap out of all of us."[3]
