That’s really disappointing to hear. This whole show is centered around the vastness of the universe (hell it’s called the Expanse!). There’s an alien life force that may or may not wipe out civilization, 1300+ new planets emerging with god knows what on them, literal wars between worlds on the brink of breaking out.

And the story is going to focus on Naomi’s estranged relationship with a son she abandoned because she felt bad for murdering people back when she was a terrorist? Cmon writers!
