It's Snyder's own damn fault he couldn't make a good movie in the timeframe that he was allotted by the studio. Nolan and the Russo brothers never had that problem and released great fricking movies and never had to depend on directors cut and extended version bullshite.
I can't wait until Snyder and his talentless fat hack moviemaking is gone and removed from DC Comics.

See, I think you could have gone the younger tech billionaire route but you'd need to have him be icy cold under the "hip man of the people" demeanor think Oscar Isaac in Deus Ex - tech bro who just wants to chill- then you find out he's a sociopath who has been watching the protagonist all along.
