I actually wish they would've done more shots like that. That's only the 2nd one I can think of. The other was when they showed all of the dishes piled up.

I had a feeling that the show would change up the shower scene. Definitely more graphic than I expected.

Changing the shower scene gives the writers more creative freedom with how to end the show. Maybe we will get a happy ending with Norman getting back on his medication and marrying Madelyn

I'm a little behind - just watched last weeks episode. Probably the best episode of this whole series. If Freddie Highmore doesn't get an Emmy nomination; the whole process is F'ed. He has been amazing as Norman - last week's episode he was phenomenal. And this is coming from someone who rarely cares who wins those BS acting awards.
