Whats awesome about this is that in the book, Ambrose talks about their PT instructors in England stopped running with Easy because the company was in so much better shape than them they couldn't keep up.

The Pacific was meh on first watch but I really enjoyed a lot more in subsequent viewings when I knew it wasn't comparable to BOB.

The Pacific is pretty good, not as good as Band of Brothers tho. Never seen Generation Kill.

The Pacific is still good and worth watching. It's not as good as Band of Brothers, but as long as you understand that beforehand, you should still enjoy it.

The Pacific is pretty dark though like someone else said.
