Haha. World of twitter, man. One thing that is actually very refreshing with this show is they aren't afraid to tease big storylines. It actually builds more anticipation IMO. You want to see the how and why. The reveal is less of the typical shock value.

I like your time jump idea. A lot. It reminds me of DC's one year later campaign where the entire line of comics all jump one year into the future. It was very interesting. The only problem is flashbacks would get too complicated. You'd have the island, then the recent past, then the present. I think they like their current model too much to mess with it.

Damned good episode. I liked seeing the team go after Slade and bring him down (even if he had it planned). I hope Quentin Lance rubs Thea's corroboration of Wilson being her kidnapper in his boss' face.

Slade spills the beans to Laurel (who looks much better to me with little-to-no-makeup), does she go back to being fricked up?

So Slade has kidnapped (then released) Ollie's sister, taken his company and dropped the A-bomb on Laurel all in one episode. What the hell do they have planned for the season finale???

Definitely one heck of an episode. I figured that Slade would mess with Thea's head, but I figured it was going to because he told her Oliver was the Arrow. Then they played on that and made me think that was actually the direction they were going to go, then they surprised me with the secret being about Malcolm. That was pretty good rope-a-doping on their part.

I was wrong in guessing that they'd keep the Slade and Isabel storylines somewhat separate. Heck, they didn't even string it out. She was basically like, "yeah dumbass, you gave me your company, and oh btw, I'm with Slade". I love that this show doesn't string out storylines.

But now we have Thea pissed and ripe for Malcolm to swoop in and take her under his wing. We also have Laurel now at a crossroad to either flip out and be pissed at Oliver, or accept it and get more involved with the team and start her training (which I'm leaning towards being the case).

BTW, I agree that Laurel looked better tonight. I thought she looked better last week too. I don't know if that is just my mind playing tricks on me or what, but for some reason she is starting to look more like she did last season. Maybe she really did lose weight and stuff to look more like a pill addict/drunk.

And now I have to wait until 4/16 for the next episode? I guess they really were behind with shooting.
