Anyone else find that Family Guy just isn't funny?

This will probably get moved to the M/TV board but I don't think it really belongs there. I'd rather post it here.
With that said, I find that Family Guy just isn't that funny, it's pretty juvenile and immature. I find that I feel like I lost brain cells after watching it. Am I the only one who finds the show dumb?

I don't watch it regularly.

It was funny the first 3 seasons. Then it just lost its appeal for me.

about 1/2 the gags fall flat from trying too hard but the other half make me laugh my arse off

Agree. It's gotten preachy, and the random stupidity is lame. I think South Park's "Cartoon Wars" episode nailed it.

I cringe when I'm at a friends and they are watching it.
South Park, I won't go out of my way to watch, but it's much more tolerable than Family Guy.
