Since X-Men Orgins: Wolverine did so good, hey are going to do another one.

"The new movie will reportedly be set in Japan and follow a samurai storyline originated in the comic book series."

I hope that this comes to light. I loved that storyline.

That was one of the endings. Logan sitting in a bar in Japan drinking to remember.

Wouldnt be surprised if Star Trek goes for 80-90 mil first weekend. Initial reviews says its going to smash Wolverine. Bad. If Origins can pull 15 next weekend it would be a miracle IMO.

Both of the additional scenes after the credits will be spawning new films:

New Wolverine

New franchise for Deadpool.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I did see some shots of what the did to Deadpools character. If they try to spawn a series off of that version of Deadpool, I think I will throw up in my mouth.

I really don't like Ryan Reynolds in that role, but I think once they put him in the deadpool costume and give him the merc equipment he's supposed to have, it will be a vast improvement.

As for another Wolverine movie, no shite. They had that totally contrived bullshite at the end where for some reason Logan and Victor just part ways even though they spent most of the movie trying to find and kill each other.

Yes, they could put her in there but without the adamantium.

I haven't read the comic books since I was really little, but I vaguely remember when he went to Japan he fought with Captain America. They said there were only two materials in the universe that adamantium couldn't cut-adamantium and captain america's shield.

Aside from Deadpool and the Wolverine sequel, Fox is also working on an X-Men spinoff focusing on Ian McKellen's villainous Magneto and another dubbed X-Men: First Class, which is being written by The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz.

Holy frick, how much money do they have?

And while we are talking about inconsistencies, what about the bullet knocking out Wolverine in X-men 2?

Especially because he completely shrugged off shots to the head with a regular bullet in this one.

yeah, I'm a dumbass. He learned how to use katana's and he learned Kung-fu in Japan. He also got married and had a kid. I am not too familiar with the villians in Japan, though so that may be a boring spinoff.

The writers they pick for these flicks don't seem to care about staying true to the source material, so they're likely throw anybody in there to make it look good. Off the top of my head, I say that they'll throw Pyro, the Punisher, and Mojo. Sad thing is, I'm sure that the writers give this a similar level of thought.
"Oh deadpool was cool originally? Lets give him a shitload of powers that don't belong to that character and he'll be ten times better. Oh and lets also make him a mute."

On a serious note, they might throw Deathstrike in there again. I think they are both suffering from memory related issues (both by Stryker, I might add) and won't recognize each other when they meet again in X2. I can't think of many other asian mutants off the top of my head (Psylocke?). Oh, they could have Omega Red come over from Russia, perhaps?

So what would constitute Star Trek "raping" Wolverine? Wolverine had a bigger opening weekend, it will take Star Trek a month or two to surpass it in revenue if it has better staying power...

Where's the rape?

i saw it the other day and it is not the same character as the original dead pool and doesn't even have the same powers... the original dead pool looked like this..

and had the same healing powers as wolverine and some powers adapted from the original striker force, but the movie rendition looked like this...

they gave deadpool way too many powers, they made him almost unstoppable...

i'm gonna be curious to see how they redo Deadpool and what powers they give him for the second one... if it comes out

They should have learned from Heroes. If you give too many people SUPER INSANE UNKILLABLE powers then it becomes plain boring to watch.
