I make no apologies for thinking that peak Anne Heche was sexy as Hell.

Agreed. She was hot in her peak. I had a mad crush on her in Volcano and Wild Side. She also showed great acting chops later on in Gracie's Choice. May she RIP.

It's really sad when someone's life goes off the rails like that. A friend from my youth was loaded fell asleep with a lit cigarette a few years ago, and was consumed by the resulting fire.
It was awful. His brother (also a good friend of mine and an upstanding guy) wasn't the same after.

I don't know about maids, but most restaurants definitely say "Your server will be right with you."

It is now common to hear the word "server" when referring to waiters and waitresses now.
Maids are often referred to as "housekeepers" now from my experience.
Stewardesses are now "Flight Attendants"
And barmaids are simply called "Bartenders".
