I still think that Johnny Knoxville would make the best possible Murdoch. Harelson is believable but Knoxville is almost a clone of the original actor.

Not sure about Woody Harrelson. He doesn't seem to fit the role and hasn't done much lately. Seems like Jim Carrey is the obvious fit for that role.
