BS. Gokey is in his league as a singer. I don't know what kind of album either of them would make though.

As far as straight vocal talent, I don't think Gokey is in the top 3.

All I know is Adam certainly isn't a straight vocal talent. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

choose certain people to give face time, they chose Danny and Lil', not Adam. This puts a dent in your notion that show is rigged in favor of Adam.

I disagree and think their strategy is quite the opposite. By showing less of him off camera they are limiting the gheyness factor. The less you see of him acting all gehy the more his singing stands out. They also transformed his hair and wardrobe to look more masculine the past three weeks. This is clearly their strategy

They probably need to put him on that P90X stuff to make him appear hetero. I think all gay men use that.

Adam Lambert has been done before.

He is nothing more than a clone of Sam Harris.

That guy's voice is INSANE...I agree that he's very dramatic/over-the-top, but that's going to be a great thing for his career long-term.

Well said PhD and with those statements you could be describing Freddy Mercury, dramatic and over the top but one of the best voices ever!!

If that's the criteria we're going on they've all been done before.... ad nauseum. Adam is the most creative and different on the entire show.

His version of Tears Of A Clown was the only thing creative he's done. Mad World was almost an exact replica of Gary Jules version. Ring Of Fire was done on Rockstar Supernova. The reason he sticks out so much is because he is a stage performer. He is in his element when he can perform over the top shite. The guy can sing his arse off. But anybody that compares him to Freddy Mercury is crazy. Right now he just happens to be the prettiest girl in an ugly pagent.

Out of all the contestants, he's easily the most marketable and already has star appeal. He can sing good enough to make it. Nobody on that stage is in his league right now.

He pretty much restructured "Play That Funky Music" two weeks ago.

There is only ONE performer on this show for whom I would cross the street to watch perform live. That is Adam.

Also, there is only ONE performer whose album I would consider buying. You guessed it: Adam

Again, it's something that has been done before. He has a way of finding obscure versions of songs and pretending he made it his own. I can't wait till he pulls out Somewhere Over The Rainbow. I'm sure he will get credit for what Sam Harris has already done.

As opposed to those OTHER musical geniuses on this show?

Singing POORLY is NOT "creativity"

I'd rather hear / see a good singer / performer doing retread (though I disagree with you) arrangements than BAD singers doing "their own thing...dawg!"
