Article time at 12:23 pm on Sunday yet the episode didn't air until this evening.....

Watched the entire show for the first time. I like Alejandro and Wade the most.

Wade is probably my least favorite of the group. Every song sounds the same. Although joe cocker was right in his wheel house.
It took a while for me to get into Alejandro but, the last 2 weeks have i've really enjoyed some of his performances. His version of white rabbit was awesome. The second song, i didn't care for.
Madison's Joplin song was pretty good. she had a pretty good night.
I was kind of surprised they let Jeremiah go but, I think at that point they had to have another girl in the top 5.
Laine is still my favorite. I really enjoy his performances. His version Johnny B Goode was awesome. All he was missing was the duck walk.

Man, his second song was the kind of thing that I could watch all day. When he plays guitar I'm entranced.
His arrangements are always fire, too. White Rabbit was amazing. I cant stop going back and listening to his version of Under Pressure, either.
Hes the best artist in the bunch, but definitely the weakest vocalist. Gonna cost him the competition, but hes gonna be just fine at this point.
Wade killed it this week. I have not been a fan this entire season, but both of his songs this week were perfect for him and helped save him, I think.
Judges should have saved JLH. I love Laci, but she's donzo next week whereas I think JLH could have done something big to get the fan vote back.
I cant believe Idol invited Gabby back to sing her single and all they gave Maddie was a cover duet with Caleb. Maddie has an album dropping 2 days before the finale. Shouldn't that be a priority here?

99.9% of the time doing originals are a horrible idea, but Alejandro just butt fricked the competition with that. That piano riff was some straight Dave Brubeck shite.

Wade was a one trick pony. Not even sure how he made top 5.
Laci got voted out and saved last week. No surprise she didn't make top 3.
I'd like to see Madison break out some Heart music.
Laine may win on wardrobe alone.
Alejandro might actually be the most talented. But, the most talented doesn't always win.

I agree. I think Alejandro is far and away the most versatile and talented, but I think Laine wins.

Alejandro is by far the most talented. I enjoyed Laine and he may win, but I still think he’s holding back a bit. I think Madison comes in 3rd.

He's very different. A very talented agent could probably figure something out. He would be a bit of a challenge. He's got such a good voice and he writes music so well.

I’ve watched the Voice from start to finish. I only started watching Idol about 4 weeks ago in parts, so far wouldn’t know about self indulgence. I haven’t seen it.

I hate this format. I miss the days of starting with a top 10 and losing 1 a week until you had a final 2. I can deal with a final 3 but I like one dramatic elimination a week.

Madison is clearly the best "singer". Not sure if she will win but she is in another league vocally. Not close in my opinion.
