I agree. Episode 1 better come out the gates swinging or I could lose interest very quickly. I watched all of S3 because I was invested but I will not watch S4 if starts out like S3.

It just looks cheesy, just like Season 3....

I am hoping I am wrong, but I wasn't last year.

I hope you're wrong, too. I agree that I wish they would get back to the original stuff. Even though Season 1 was all about ghosts and supernatural shite, it somehow still felt...real.

That's what made it so great. Nothing about Season 3, and some parts of Season 2, gave me anywhere near that great feeling that Season 1 did.

really liked season 1 (but not really the ending) and 2 (i'm in the minority) but season 3 was really disappointing.

I agree with all of this. Season 2 could have been the best if they just left out the aliens

I'm about halfway through S3, it's certainly more disturbing than cheesy.

I'm debating on even if I watch E1 of S4. I stopped watching S3 after the 1st Stevie Nicks episode last season.

I actually rank S2 above S1. S1 fell apart in the last two episodes. S3 was shite and I can't believe I wasted time watching it.

Why do you feel that way about S3?

If they are smart, they will go back to some of the formula from season 1. It was an incredible season. As someone said earlier, even though it was grounded in the supernatural, it didn't go overboard, so you could really believe it was all happening. It felt very real, which made it much more intense/scary. Also, that young maid

Season 2 was okay, but wasn't very scary, and relied too much on "gruesome horror".

Season 3 was just weird. Not very good.

I really hope they make this season scarier than the past 2, and not as campy. I don't have high hopes though. Ryan Murphy is too concerned about using metaphors to give a message about some social issue than making a great show.

LOL what?

Please tell me you are a chick

The ONLY part of Season 3 that was disturbing, and the path it should have kept to, was the opening scene with Baits in the attic. Immediately after that it turned into a teenage girl witch film.

It had the most inconsistent writing yet (are they powerful, are they not?). And there were no real consequences for anyone's actions. And the finale might have been one of the worst hours of TV I've seen.

This is just what I could think of having been far removed from it. I'm sure if you searched for the threads from last season you will see in greater detail why we all thought it was shite.

Nah man, watching Precious finger herself in front of a Minotaur was awesome #sarcasm

Yeah, nothing disturbing about a mom having sex with her zombie son.

I can agree there, it certainly was inconsistent with their powers and all.
Haven't seen the finale yet, but it seems cliche from what I've read on the Wiki for it.

Yea that was messed up.

I hope the threads for season 4 aren't filled with bitching and whining like the season 3 threads were

If the season is good, it wont be filled with bitching.

If the season is bad, we are going to bitch about it. That is the point of message boards.

Why? All of us that were complaining early on ended up being vindicated by the end. It was exactly what we thought, pure shite.

Maybe it was but all y'all would post is "this is garbage, why am I watching, blah blah blah" when someone actually wanted to discuss what was going on it would be ignored for whining and bitching.
