“American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy has unveiled the title for the show’s ninth season.
Murphy posted a creepy teaser trailer on his Instagram, at the end of which its is revealed Season 9 will be called “AHS 1984.” The clip, which has an 80s slasher movie vibe and à la “Friday the 13th,” also revealed the show is returning to FX this Fall.

I think they shelved the Katrina show for now.

I know this has the 80's slasher movie vibe, but any chance this is just a misdirect and it will focus more on like a George Orwell "1984" Utopian type of society?

Another "Teaser" for AHS 1984
Dunno if any of y'all have seen this, so I thought I'd share.
I've gotta say, this clip has me HYPED for an 80s slasher season of AHS.
Emma Roberts as a brunette in that full-body unitard had me like
Also interesting that it seems like she's going to be a "good girl" for a change - should be enjoyable to see her show some range.
On the other hand, Billie Lourd as the "bad girl"...

Was the season in the bunker any good? I watched the premier but stopped. The premier wasn’t bad, I just missed all the other ones lol

Like every season but the first, it started off promising and devolved into a huge muck of story that ended up being disappointing.

I may give this a shot. AHS is an awful, awful show, but always begins with a pretty solid premise. And I am all about some 80s nostalgia bullshite. So I may give it a shot and bail once it gets stupid, like someone mentioned above.

I assume you meant "dong SHOTS"? In that case, I think it's safe to assume that one character with the emphasis on his dong will be known for it within the show, and likely will lose it at some point in a classic slasher/horror movie trope.
If you did indeed mean "dong SHORTS," well, it was the 80s, my guy. Short shorts and crop tops were the norm. Ironic, considering most of the hardos hating on LGBTQ+ and eccentric dressers nowadays dressed like that in the past.
