Amazon, Hulu or Netflix...which is the best and why? What are your preferences?

Prime because you can buy channels and usually you get them free for a month trial.
HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz, Epix, whatever.

Netflix has the best original content imo.

Depends on what you are looking for. Just switch them out each month and check out the catalogue for each

Use Netflix the most by a decent margin

Netflix for original content. Amazon for their massive selection.
Hulu can go die in a fire.

Prime original content sucks the big veiny.
They haven't put anything out worth a shite since The Patriot.
The Boys is ok though.

Netflix is putting out amazing original content, especially in the True Crime genre.

Yesh it was ok. But I'm talking about something really unique or captivating. It seems like HBO and Netflix (especially HBO) hit alot more homeruns than Prime does. Prime even screwed up that show about the faries and shite. I tried to get through it and it bored the shite out of me.

I would Say stand alone: Netflix. A lot of shows and movies and the best original content
Amazon is great because you get it with Prime and thats already a deal. I honestly believe a Prime Membership is one of the best deals on earth.
I use Hulu for live TV and it’s got a lot of shows. Not a lot of original stuff and the movie selection is just ok. But I cut the cord and use them for Live Tv and it’s been good.

Hulu is actually getting better recently. I'm guessing that's the Disney effect. They have the entire FX lineup. Plus Devs is new. I liked High Fidelity and Little Fires Everywhere is getting a lot of buzz.

Netflix is still at the top for now. Their original shows and BBC content is great. I tend to lean towards TV series on there.
Amazon second for the ability to rent movies and catch a wide collection of content. I also run STARZ through them.
Hulu is basically for background content for me while I’m doing work. Stuff like Food Network shows. If they could manage more originals like Castle Rock, I’d use them more. I frequent Disney+ more than I do Hulu.

Netflix is good original content and movies.
Hulu is better for TV series.
Amazon prime has some random gems like the boys but mostly its if you want to buy/rent new movies not on the other 2 just yet.

Thanks everyone! I forgot to ask about Apple TV as well. How does that work and is it any good? Thanks again.

Netflix by a mile. Prime has maybe 2 or 3 good shows (High Castle, Boys, Maisel, Patriot) with a few decent ones (Carnival Row, Jack Ryan)
Netflix has a lot of trash. So so so much trash but their highs are a lot high than anything Amazon or Hulu has done. Stranger Things, Love Death Robots, Dark, Bodyguard, Ozark, Daredevil, etc are all better than almost anything on Prime or Hulu.
Although Hulu getting the FX lineup is a plus in their book.

Netflix by far. Content is a little sparse now that I have had it for years, but if I was new it would take me years to catch up on original content that is worth watching. It also cost a lot more. $17.99
Hulu has some decent stuff that is original, but not a lot. Tons of old TV shows though for only 5.99 a month.
Amazon has a couple things but I wouldn’t probably pay more than $3 a month for it. It comes free with Prime. Besides that I could live without it.
