Sunny has always been hit and miss with me. That's usually the case when shows rely on the stupidity of its characters as the source of humor.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. When it works it's really funny. When it misses the mark it can be cringe-worthy.
This season has pretty much followed that pattern. Some very funny stuff and some that simply failed.

it's been funny all season. the cast arrangements on screen seem weird probably due to shooting times but still funny

Alright did anybody see that episode just now? Damn it was actually a pretty powerful ending. I’m shocked.

Yeah I was waiting for some stupid punchline at the end but nope. They actually delivered a serious and emotional moment.

The last two episodes underwhelmed me, but overall, it was a good season.
I dont think the show can last much longer without everyone filming together, though. Some parts of this season just seemed off without the whole gang there.

Decent season, but really down for their level.
Can't believe they ended the season on this episode should have ended it with the Dennis episodes.
I am guessing Sunny is trying to say they aren't going to make gay jokes anymore. If that is true it is the end.

I agree. My favorite television character of all time is Dennis, so the lack of him this season has been disappointing. They are definitely towards the end of their run, but as an ultimate fan, I don’t wanna see it end anytime soon. So I’ll take seasons like this over no season.

About Ep10 Ending. Doesn’t Rob McElheney have two gay moms? Must have been an homage to them. I think they may have one season left, as the show feels like it’s coming to an end.

Yeah, Devito, once he took out the nose strips clogging up the blood, turned serious actor. He was awesome. I'm not sure I totally liked the episode though - this show is just different now . . .
The whole dancing angel thing with Mac? I dunno. I half-expected Frank to wake up from the first hit to the nose - THAT would have been more Sunny - showing Frank finally "getting" Mac in a very Sunny way.
Sunny without Dennis is just a decent show. Sunny without Dennis - with serious melodramatic moments - is just weird.

I think he just stopped trying to plug it up. It was really just a metaphor for Mac.
