The Rugge kid (Timberlake) recently got out of prison a couple of years ago. I think the only ones still in are the shooter and Hollywood (Truelove). The later still has some appeals out there. I’m still shocked he got convicted and life. Many argue it’s because the movie came out before his trial. There is really zero hard evidence against him.

They killed him over $1200 basically. Disgusting.

The worse part is that the killer actually owed more than the amount that Foster's character owed.

Did anyone else feel like the lighting at the end made the shooting look really fake?

I’ve watched that. I keep watching interviews with the kids that are now free and it’s always a let down. None will talk about Hollywood or even the movie.

I agree, but Hollywood wasn’t even in the same town. Who knows what his involvement was other than the ‘kidnapping’ if you can even call it that. Zero evidence other than he said/she said in the poor kids murder.

One of my favorites. How could it be a failure? We see everything by the end of the movie. And it all comes together; No stupid innuendos. But what was it about the drug deal at Johhnys house. Near the beginning. It was the big guy with short blonde hair. Only time in the movie. It was a huge exchange. Reason I ask is you never see him again.

Ya know until like 1985, this was the only type of evidence we had to convict people of anything

In real life, Jesse James Hollywood was like 5’3” and your typical insecure suburban wanna be gangster. Emile Hirche nailed it.

Ben Foster was the best acting role in the movie but Emile dude nailed it as well. Two phenomenal actors. Justin Timberlake played the fun role. Great cast, great movie.

I’ve gotta give the edge to Norton there, but solely based on American history being a much better movie than alpha. If we are talking just their specific role, I like foster better.

However, if you see Johnny truelove, tell him jake mazursky is looking for him

Hoyt allegedly got the murder weapon from him.
