I forgot what season I watched with my 93 year old dad, he finally said why are all the people crying?

and what was this bridge going over in the desert?
It went over more desert. Was more of a raised walk way than a bridge. It used interlocking logs and branches and was actually pretty cool.
Much better than the flimsy bamboo bridge one of the other guys did.

I just watched the finale of Alone: Frozen.
spoilers-
Woniya is a bad arse. The guys were fairly weak other than Amos. Even he gave up way to easily.

spoilers should be good at this point. Either way ***spoilers***
She is a legit badass. Officially the toughest female competitor the show has had. Yea the guys were pretty weak this season. I mean the conditions were harsh for sure, but they were complaining asap.
I'm sorry but people who tap out like the first guy that tapped need to be fined for being a pussy
I mean he took a spot from someone else that would have actually tried. He gave the typically weak reply of "I'm tired of running away from things, I need to be with my family and be there for my kids. From now on I'm going to be by their side." Dude, stfu, you've been away for like 4 days. At least Amos and the older guy admitted that the land defeated them, not trying to act like you were fine but just missing your family.
I dont ever remember a season with this many mussels to gather. They pretty much had an endless supply the whole time.

It was a crazy dynamic, everyone who left only talked about how they had PTSD from the last time they were on the show. Which just reinforces my position that one of the best all time is my man Sam

Agreed on Sam. He is low key on the Mount Rushmore of Alone. He was, heck still is extremely young also.

He's definitely an all timer. Not a very good hunter, but as far as just being able to rough it in brutal conditions, he's definitely top tier. One of my favorites.
Jordan is the undisputed GOAT for me though.

I love Jordan, but Roland is the GOAT.
Jordan's weakness is his family. Eventually, being away from them will get to him. Roland has no one and nothing at home. He is just as good mentally being out there as he is anywhere.

Yea you're right. He probably is the GOAT. The knife musk-ox kill was the craziest thing that's ever happened on the show. Plus he went 100 days. I lost my mom last year and cant imagine going on that show right after losing her and he was clearly broken up about that. He was incredible.
Jordan killing the wolverine with the axe in the middle of the night always stands out to me as well. I think he killed a moose as well.

i think that was my first season to watch. Am I remembering correctly that he wasn't very good at finding food but just had an unbelievable tolerance at suffering with hunger? Jordan and Roland are the best all around players but a lot can be said just for endurance when you can't find what you need.

Jordan and Roland were the peak in terms of skill. Sam obviously had the skills to survive, but he is an anomaly in that he had a wife and kids at home, acknowledged them constantly in the show, yet still stuck it out. Normally I make my winner picks based on who has the least connection to home, hence why Roland is probably the strongest contestant ever. Elite skills and no wife or kids.

I felt so bad for Jordan when he lost his fat stash to a wolverine because he forgot to move the ladder to his cache of meat and fat. Badass killed that wolverine at night pinning it with an arrow and chopping it with an axe.
