Thats a shame, I’m halfway through. Half the people just cracked in like a week.
I’m no survivalist, but I could have built a lean to, drank water from the tarp drainage, and stared at the water fishing and made the final four in this thing.

The Tasmania one?
Cons: No meaningful game animals made this season a slog.
Pros: The cast cursing with no edits was pretty entertaining.

The Tasmania season was very weak. I felt like the New Zealand season was better but still didn't compare to the US/Canada seasons.

Have you watched all the other Alone's? History channel has them streaming for free on their roku app.
I've watched every season and the first season of Alone Australia is by far the worst. But it was one of the crappiest/most miserable locations. Just nasty, ugly, and horrible fishing.
Disagree that it was rigged, it just wasn't the winner that people wanted.

My favorite was like season 3 or so in the US when the black guy was talking all kinds of shite, and called for rescue about 2 hours after being dropped off because he saw bear poop

Yea that was hilarious. In the "pre drop" episode or whatever it's called he straight up said "If I see a bear he better be the one that runs"
Dude saw one bear turd and tapped out.

Sure. I think it's about as real as you can get for reality TV though. And just because it's staged doesn't mean it was rigged. Like I say, people just didn't want that person to win so now that is the only season that is rigged I guess.
