just finished this, overall liked it despite Ruffalo

The one notable bit that I greatly disliked was the Titanic-esque scene during the ending

Why the hell was he cast in this when so many British actors are around? He makes this feel like a damn C level production. It’s legit laughable

I agree with this.

But keep watching. The story is great and there are some very good up-and-comers in German acting.

Bump, because this is way better than most of the Kevin Hart crud on Netflix.

Agreed that Ruffalo was the weakest among an otherwise solid cast.

Hilarious that RottonTomatoes audiences gave it 81% while their critics gave it a score of 21%.

Used to love Ruffalo but I can’t stand his acting the last several years. So whiny. Even in avengers

Same exact for him personally. He turned into the president of woke Hollywood. He’s said before he wouldn’t piss on a Republican if they were on fire

Every German soldier in the show (except for main orphan guy) make Hitler look like Mr. Rogers.
I think they all eat baby kittens for breakfast.

Hijack thread question: who played the most despicable Nazi on screen?

Christoph Waltz comes to mind but there's gotta be worse.

Waltz was chilling for sure but a short list has to include Ralph Fiennes

I can’t think of a better portrayal of pure evil than Fiennes’ Goeth.

When Plaszów survivor Mila Pfefferberg was introduced to Fiennes on the set of the film, she began to shake uncontrollably, as Fiennes, costumed in full SS dress uniform, reminded her of the real Amon Göth.
