None did.

Noah Hawley on the eyeball alien.
That was a good read.
That sheep had to be the best actor of that Esposide:
Im getting Alien Isolation vibes from the upcoming espoisde.
Also there is a trailer out there that leaked, that shows who gets face huggered in the lab.
Fair Warning its out there lurking on the interwebs.

When they said to the brother he wouldn’t believe what they did with his lung it made me wonder was that it inside the glass that the alien crawled out of?

You catch on fast
At least they’re keeping it in the family, so to speak.
But now will the brother end up with a face hugger to implant his other lung?
This has gone so far off the rails.

I mean his sister once had cancer, now she kicks all kinds of arse.

I was under the impression that the fight that Wendy had with the Xeno damaged her hardware/software in a way where her auditory levels had altered allowing her to pick up the soundwaves from the aliens.
They were testing her hearing in episode 1. They confirmed she could detect frequencies beyond human hearing but before they could investigate further, the ship crashed. As far as how she did it, they discovered she had the ability to rewrite code when she hacked the robot to speak to her brother.

Why? It’s the same technology being used on all of the kids, so why don’t the other kids have the same abilities?
They mentioned that kids have the brains to allow them to accept the transfer better. They have done some sort of testing with younger and older subjects ? Did they all die? Or were they just sample efforts and not full on body transfers?
A little curious that they took prepubescent kids and put them in late teen, early 20’s bodies. Basically right after puberty.

Man, I'll be honest, I watched the first 2 episodes stoned and a buzzed. I don't even remember that. I probably need to go back and re-watch the first 2.
But yeah, I think that its totally plausible(in the scope of a show set in the future about aliens and advanced AI) that she has some kind of hardware/software issue/quirk that would cause her auditory levels to be up or down.

There are so many "easter eggs" in this series.
Every scene, every piece of dialogue, evey set piece in the background, every "moot point" is coming around to circle, and at one point in the future will be the anchor to drive the plot further in the series.
The foreshadowing has been consistant.
Ive rewatched each espodie, and still missed some. But so far its been pretty consistant.
I watch the breakdowns, they really show you what you missed. Its pretty cool

They have the same technology on the default settings. Judging by how surprised they were in episode 1 when she could detect the high frequencies, it’s safe to assume the default setting was the range of human hearing. I’m sure if you hooked the others up to that machine and altered their settings, they could hear the aliens too. Wendy was the only one with a motivation to try to alter the code because none of the others were given access to Prodigy security to spy on a loved one.
We know they have the ability to instantly download knowledge, like Curly with French and Isaac with the science books. Slightly had no idea because he didn’t have a motivation to try it until Isaac told him about it. It doesn’t seem like they were given a manual.

Wendy said adult minds were “too stiff” for the transition yet. They are testing on children with the goal of perfecting the process for adults.

It would be creepy to be an eternal child. Like Kirsten Dunst in Interview with a Vampire. They probably picked young adults because it was the easiest transition for the kids and they were not limiting the technology by putting them in small bodies.

I think Wendy is slightly different as the initial prototype they based the others off of. Or at least that's the impression I get (and why she can maybe hear what the others can't).

Good point. And wasn't there some mention of it being just simpler to 'age them up' once, instead of every couple of years? That would simulate actual growth.
Either way, the lack of foresight of having young minds in post puberty bodies and oh yean, tossing them into a crisis situation without fully testing and training them seems an absurd misuse of such cutting edge tech. Crazy Red who thinks she's knocked up and almost kills science lady should have been had her power shut off immediately. If nothing else, maybe hit a reset button.

We realize that in Alien, the Company was basically sacrificing those on the Nostromo, for the chance of getting their 'sample'.
This goes beyond stupid.

Wendy asked about her body and Kirsh's blunt answer was 'synthetic bodies don't grow.' In that same conversation Kirsh mentioned that they shouldn't try to simulate puberty and emotions because they aren't human, but Boy K overruled him. Every bad decision can be traced back to Boy K and there have been objections each step of the way that he just brushes aside. Kirsh objected to the simulated puberty, Kirsh and the old man Eins told him he was foolish to risk the hybrids and switch his focus to the specimens.

Based on what she told the guards to tell their boss, there seems to be some protocol in place when they act erratic. If there is some sort of switch, I think she was just caught off-guard and couldn't reach it. I'm interested to see how they attempt to control them since it is probably different than the programming in a normal synthetic.

Lady got to a panic call button but not a shut off?
Again, this is monumentally stupid for an irrational super strong synth who’s an eyelash from committing violent murder.

I binge watched 1 - 4 last night while I was tending my pulled pork on the smoker. I went in completely blind to the series but of course know the theatrical movies; so I was expecting a kids vs aliens treatment to attract younger audiences into the franchise but have been pleasantly surprised ... it's only 4 episodes so far and I like the first season or two of Walking Dead before I gave up on it.
I have no complaints yet.
Production value is amazing for a "TV show"
