Gollum is pretty up there. I'm fact, every hobbit but sam is kind of annoying.

I think that’s the point. The ring corrupted him and made him unlikable. If Sam hadn’t been along for the ride Frodo never makes it to Mordor.

Exactly. Frodo is fine before the Ring comes to him. Fellowship he’s not annoying at all, but in The Two Towers he begins to change and fears he’ll become Gollum. It’s the point of the story. The Ring radically fricked up his psyche to the point where he can not be healed by conventional manners.

Just imagine if Captain Marvel who is already beating the shite out of innocent people acquired the One Ring amplifying her power. She’d be far worse than Frodo who simply wants to lie under trees in the Shire. Frodo becoming unlikable is the point on how the One Ring corrupts everyone. Sam only had the Ring for a day. Even Sam would have become loathsome under its influence.

Frodo is a POS. In fact, Frodo didn’t even intend on destroying the ring. Sam is the real savior of middle earth

The movie left out much of what the ring was doing to Frodo.

Even as Sam briefly carried the ring, when Frodo was captured, it started to affect him as well. He was able to resist its hold, but Frodo had been carrying it for much longer...
