Fine I’ll break the ice (I think). Any of you baws been? Mrs. White and I saw it Friday night, thought it was pretty well done. The last few minutes got me in the feels, but Shailene’s ‘cameos’ may have stolen the show.

Ha- strangely I felt like she started rough, but settled in. Film had an old school vibe to me for some reason. Crazy it was a true story.

Wow, this is from 1983.

Surprised it took Hollywood so long to make it.

I haven't seen the movie but I read there is ONE HUGE change to the movie from the real life experience and book.

Just got back from it. Shailene Woodley's boobs should win an award. Seriously the entire movie is focused directly on her boobs. Greatly approved and highly recommend.

The story itself is pretty cool, definitely a twist at the end if you aren't familiar with the story. The love story stuff is pretty lame, but like I said you get her nearly naked the entire movie to make up for it.

The storm scenes were terrifying, no way would I try sailing out in that stuff pre-GPS and satellite communications era.

Good flick.

This is dumb. She gave a great performance in this movie. Gotta give credit when it is due.

My girlfriend wanted to watch this so we went earlier today. We both liked it a lot. I thought it was very well done, especially how they paced it.

Not sure what that is - maybe Open Water 2: Adrift? This was based on the true story of Tami Oldham Ashcraft.

maybe i'm just ruined, but i thought she was cute when she was young, then got really tired of her from her whatever dystopian show she was in and was very unattracted to her (although she did a good job) in big little lies.

she hasn't moved it for me on the attractive scale in some time.

Decent movie, but I felt like I've seen it all before: the story (lost at sea), the jumping timeline, the twisty bits. The pokies are nice but I think it's only worth seeing on the big screen if you have MoviePass, otherwise just wait and watch it on the small screen.

I do wonder why any actor would want to make a movie like this, where you are wet for hours on end every day. Must be torture.
