It was pretty sad when Patrick Swayze died. Pancreatic cancer is rough from what I've heard and seen.

Not exactly an actor, but I was sad to hear of Steve Irwin's death. I know he did a lot of dangerous stuff, but he always seemed somewhat invincible.

Also Billy Mays. Also not an "actor" per se, but still...

Not an actor, but I'm gonna say Johnny Carson.

After that, Michael Landon.

Not actors, but I was really sad that Mr. Rogers died. And I shed a tear when Harry Carey died.

George Carlin
Robert Altman
Hunter S. Thompson (how his life ended is more sad than anything) Fear and Loathing became a much more depressing movie/book after his death.

Johnny Carson, Jim Varney, Bruce Lee (Although he died before I was born...but I didn't find out until after I had watched him for a few years..I was 8 or 9), Frank Sinatra (yes he acted, too!), Lucille Ball, Lesley Nelson....those are the ones that come to mind automatically. edited to add: Don Knotts...

I am going to miss Bill Cosby when he is gone. He can't live foreever. I have come to terms with that. I am getting misty eyed just typing this.

Most recently, Dennis Hopper.

The lil girl from Poltergiest dying was pretty sad.

Not really an actor but, Sam Kinnison.
