Oddly I think Varys is probably the most honest and righteous character in the books. And to think how much I hated him in the beginning. Any clue as to where he is. Is he with tyrion did he run somewhere else. If so where?

It's the book thread man, its the one place where no one worries about spoilers. Although I will steer well clear of this place after book 5 comes out until I finish it.

But yea I hope they don't either but I don't think that is going to happen honestly. Although if another stark dies it will be Rickon or Sansa I think Arya Jon and Bran will all be safe, at least until close to the end.

I don't think he is with Tyrion, although it wouldn't surprise me.

Where he shows up is going to be a big hint as to the answers of my earlier questions.

Speaking of which, that's something else I have wondered: What is Tyrion's role from here? He is too developed a character to just fall off the face of the story while he still lives.

I think tyrion is up there as well. He says what he means and means what he says. Yea he drinks whoremongers exacts revenge etc etc but he claims all of the titles as well.

And I'm pretty sure varys and tyrion are converging on the same city if they haven't already.

there are several lines that he states he has a soft spot for Jon and even Bran. I could see him getting along with Jon Arya and Bran. But I doubt that happens

If my wolf theory is true, I think all the starks are safe for the momment.

The ones without wolf protection are both in very good hands....Arya is out of Westeros altogether, and Littlefinger is keeping an eye on Sansa....he won't have the run of stupidity that killed all of the other Starks.

I have no clue where Arya's road will take her though....as the man said...this is no place for Arya of House Stark and offers to help that girl. Arya refuses and stays.

There's a sample Tyrion chapter in its final form up on Martin's Notablog blog, and a couple more transposed from those readings. Two weeks from the release date I wouldn't read them though.

I really hope that man =syrio.

Just a theory here but when Joaquin says he has other promises to keep, do yall think that maybe that promise was to Ned? To ensure the continuation of his house perhaps? It is a bit far fetched and wishful thinking but still. If syrio=Joaquin=the third incarnation then it might work

haha I already knew. Thanks for the heads up though. My biggest sin with these books is that I will read several of one character's chapters in a row. As in if a Jon chapter ends on a cliffhanger I will skip to the next one. Cause often times it will be Jon/Arya/Jaime/Tyrion/anyone else good and then a damn sansa chapter or something like that. I'm going to try not to do that with ADWD.

it is very tempting to but I enjoy the anticipation. I am a glutton for punishment, plus the only way I can get through a sansa chapter is the hope that a Jon chapter is next.

Hmmm...one thing I thought of.

Who is Lord/Lady of the Rock now?

Assuming Cersei's plotting ends in her death.

Kevin?

On a similar note, wasn't Tyrion Tywin's heir before he killed him? Tywin shuts down such a notion...but who else was there? Cersei's kids are all exempted, and Jaime couldn't be it.

Unless he plotted to extract the white cloak from Jaime (which he refused), there was no other way...

I can't remember the epilogue as I haven't legit gotten there yet but if it involves an individual with a gold tooth I know. I think he may be doing other stuff to help the family... again I have to reread the first 3 and finish AFFC

But its understood throughout the realm that tyrion murdered tywin. So no way the lannisters would ever allow him to become lord of casterly rock. It has to be Kevan although I don't think its been mentioned. I really hope one of our pov characters goes to casterly rock soon Its talked about so much yet we've never seen anyone actually go there.

Also am I the only one who thinks the Dorne chapters are boring as frick.
