Last film to hit the century mark was Sonic the Hedgehog in February of 2020.

quote:

Horror hit #AQuietPlace2 joined the century club on FRI in 15th day of release with $3.7M boosting domestic cume to $101M. Beats $99.5M of #GvK becoming first movie to break $100M at US #boxoffice since Sonic the Hedgehog in FEB 2020! More blockbusters to come this summer!

Notably AQP2 is a following a different release strategy than the Disney and WB movies. Instead of simultaneous free on streaming in the first week of release (WB) or a $30 streaming rental (Disney) this movie will be up on Paramount+ 45 days after theatrical release.

Also of note, Cruella is just the 4th movie released in 2021 reach $50 million at the box office.

The first one was turrible. Why not just live down by the waterfall?

The military can't defeat a blind enemy? WTF, tie some radios to a string and hang them off the grand canyon.

Those creatures are FAST!!! Plus they have armor on them and the only way for them to become vulnerable is to use a hearing aid to make squelching sounds to open up the armor on their heads.

Military apparently never figured that one out.

I wouldn't go that far, but I wasn't really a fan.

I love how frickers critique movies like this as if it is in the mention for the Oscars.

Some of you need to take it down a notch channeling your inner Ebert, and enjoy things for what they are.

These movies are 100% enjoyable and worth the money for admission.

I think they would’ve survived the fall with that armor, but it seems you could do this for any lakes and coasts that have a cliff overlooking water. They’d pile off like lemmings. Maybe they do it in part 3.

Was a decent movie. I did not contribute. Through Apple TV, which I have a year free, I did a 7-day free trial of Paramount and got to watch it free.
