Agreed, more to their backgrounds they could explore. Good action, good looking chicks, good comedy, means a good watch to me!

I liked 6 better than 7...think it would have been better if 6 would have been there the entirity. The driving scene was far better than sniper scenes to me, and I thought 6's personality fit better with the team. Killing 6 to add 7 seemed forced and detrimental to the movie.

Unless 6 was a next level sniper, they're all dead without 7.

It was weird they replaced their driver with a sniper. Seems like you would get another getaway driver to support the missions if that’s how your originally built the team

7 was doing some awesome shite while also making some questionable decisions. Much like someone else

Do not question the Bay. You will find no satisfying answers.

Made it to the bar scene at the opera. This film is complete crap and Ryan Reynolds can only carry a Bay project for so long.

Similar to Triple Frontier. I see what Netflix is trying to do with building a franchise film. They just fail miserably at it.

It's your standard Michael Bay movie that's trying to gain enough attention to become a franchise.

If you want "Good for what it is" heist films that have come out recently. Look towards Logan Lucky, Baby Driver, American Animals or Hell or Highwater.

It’s most impressive feat was that Ryan Reynolds charisma is so strong he almost saved the movie. Any other actor and there was no chance I would’ve made it through the movie.

Actually thought Triple Frontier was far and away superior to this. Not that it was a great film but this is really poorly written. It's like they just got everyone together and said Ryan you kinda do that dead pool schtick everyone else just make up shite as you go. As far as the plot....woof.

That's exactly what they did. The comparison to Triple Frontier comes from the fact that Netflix was banking on it being a major franchise win for them. Granted, I didn't find Triple Frontier that great either.

Great action movie with an ensemble cast. Reynolds said its the Bay-est Michael Bay film ever, and I'm apt to agree.

Watched this based on your recommendation last night, and it did not disappoint. It was fun to watch, and they left the door wide open for a sequel.

I watched this last night and it was exactly what I would expect from a Ryan Reynolds/Michael Bay movie. Non-stop fun action from beginning to end, all sorts of crazy sets, and not much of a real plot. The movie didn't need a real thought out nuanced plot anyway.

Anyone else thought it was similar to a rebooted A-team?
