Just got out of warfare. Yeah that was intense. Can't imagine being in that situation.

I noticed it was streaming on Hulu and put it on my watchlist, but haven’t watched it yet.

I saw it a couple weeks ago to prepare me for the new one. Considering the film and technology comparisons of what's used nowadays, I didn't find it disappointing at all. It reminded me of going back and watching Cloak & Dagger how outdated that seems but still a fun watch.

That's great. Only a B for Drop

I honestly will never understand cinemascore’s scale. It goes A-F but anything lower than A is implied to be a failure when it’s reported.

Yeah, it's kind of silly. A B is only a decent score for the horror genre. It's considered poor for most others

Yeah, OP must be a youngin'. Saw it in the theater back in the day. The Robert Littell book is a good read, too.

Warfare looks incredible. Gonna try and catch a weekday showing. The marketing for it has been kind of shite tbh

Drop was ok. Enjoyed it, but one of those movies better if not seen the trailer.

Very intense and very realistic. Most war movies leave you with that “frick yea!” Feeling after. This one was more like “frick that”. It does an amazing job of giving you the sense of fear these marines had and how different soldiers react when in a combat situation.

Just got out and this is spot on.

War movies in the Middle East is kind of cliche at this point. Why is so hard for Hollywood to make a movie that fans actually want to watch?

Sorry man, low intensity (comparatively speaking) counter insurgency warfare isnt very exciting in the traditional sense. No big battles, no heroes and everything is all fricked up.

But its exciting if you are in it.

Saw Drop tonight. Good little low budget Blumhouse flick.

Good pacing. Kept it pretty suspenseful from about 10 minutes in till about the end and they buried the lede pretty well.

Yes and no. It’s a borderline masterpiece in a way. You are there, in the shite. But it’s not fun or pretty. Probably the most intense theater experience I’ve ever had. I could have puked
