So on one hand, Derrick Henry would measure up to Zeke if only he had a good team. On the other, he plays for a good team.

Sorry bud, just another example where Henry is playing catch up.

Henry & it's not even close. I bet if you asked NFL defenders who they'd rather go against most would say Zeke. Thing about Henry he's seems to get stronger as the game goes on. Scary for defenders seeing that 250lb beast coming at them with a full head of steam in the second half. Henry has been a better citizen off the field as well. By the way that Ohio St Bama game Henry was running all over the Buckeyes but Kiffin didn't give him the ball enough & so that helped in the loss.

I'm not choosing the guy with 5 fumbles (lost 4) this season. Give me that baw that can run with the ball and hold on to it.

Zeke already has 5 fumbles this season. Henry has zero so far

Zeke's headed in the wrong direction because of one reason, his team sucks this year. I don't know why people think its the RB, its not. Its the team. The first couple years the cowboys were good so Zeke was a beast, now the cowboys suck and guess what? Zeke's not as good.

The first couple of years the Titans suck and Henry sucks, now the Titans are good and Henry is a beast.

RB is probably the most overated position in the NFL and the one that relies on the rest of the team more than anything.

Cowboys should have traded or let Zeke walk.

O line and defense are now complete trash.

Classic roster mismanagement from Jerruh and Stephan

Issue is, Henry needs a line.

I mean...this is the case for virtually every RB who has ever played the game - even Barry Sanders. Sure, Sanders would make plays even with a mediocre line blocking for him, but there was still someone there to get a hat on the defender, even if it was only for a split second, which is all Barry Sanders needed. But he still needed it.

Yep, exactly. The problem is the RB is the name that everyone associates with great Oline play outside of the QB.

This is also why every team should have a back up that gets solid 1st team carries so that its clear that its not just the RB1 that's great its the taem.

Henry. Is this even a serious question?

I don’t think looking at % for no gain or loss and yards after contact is a good way to say you’d take Zeke over Henry.

2020 rushing stats:

Henry DOMINATES Zeke in yards after contact per attempt. Zeke also has better yards before contact(helping him avoid plays for a loss). Henry also breaks more tackles.

2019 rushing stats:

Henry DOMINATES Zeke in yards after contact per attempt. Zeke, again, has better blocking and gets farther down the field before being touched. And again, Henry breaks more tackles.

2018 rushing stats:

Henry DOMINATES in yards after contact per attempt. This year, the difference in their yards before contact is absolutely absurd. Zeke has had some incredible lines. Lines that spring him into the 2nd level where he isn’t good at avoiding or breaking tackles, a place where Henry absolutely thrives. Their attempts per broken tackle are lightyears apart as well.

I contend that Henry is better at running the ball and would be EVEN BETTER behind Zeke’s lines(yes I know they might have had some years where they were overrated just a bit).

During these 3 seasons, Zeke has 3204 rushing yards on 4.5 ypc with 23 TDs. Henry has 3187 rushing yards on 5 ypc with 34 TDs.

Cherry picked stats are garbage stats.

They've both been in the league for the same amount of time. No reason to be selective.

Stack them up, and Henry is where he's always been. Playing catch-up to Zeke.
