Lowe: NBA Free Agent madness is here

quote:

The madness is upon us. The landscape of the league is about to shift in ways that might cause the Golden State Warriors to look up from their phones and nod briefly in acknowledgement. Let's bounce around the major questions.

Love that opening

Does anybody really care about the NBA off-season with the World Cup in process?

I don't think so. They are trying to create ratings.

More people care about the NBA than a World Cup that our country isn’t even playing in.

That being said, the free agency period is probably the most entertaining aspect of the league right now with the high profile FA’s this year, and the competitive balance being such shite

It's weird to think about it that way, but you could be right. In India it's Cricket, here its basketball and Football.

Damn. He earned his money with that article. It took me like 5 minutes just to scroll and read cliff notes.

NBA Free Agency is probably more interesting than the NBA Season itself.

The future champion will essentially be slated this offseason based on a handful of moves

The future champion is already slated unless things get really out of hand this offseason
