Yu Darvish stepped down, Peacock stepped up

Darvish's two poor pitching performances and Peacock's two key pitching performances made the difference in the series.

Peacock is a badass.

I didn't care for Darvish when he was a Ranger.

Peacock and Morton are the pitching MVPs for this series and it's not even close.

Both asked to come out of their comfort zone. Both delivered.

i didn't hate Darvish as a ranger, but he never quite performed like we had hoped. not a failure, just didn't meet the hype.

How can you not like Yu?? He's done nothing but pitch really well throughout his short MLB career, hasn't given anyone a reason not to care for him.

Neither did I. When you're supposedly an "ace" but have fewer complete games than Colby Lewis (???!!!) that's not saying much. But all I got was mocked for the Japanese Fade.

Don't worry. When Jon the Moron brings him back to the Rangers on an overpaid deal the Astros can beat him up some more.
