Very difficult to lose in the wild card round when you win your division with one of the two best records in your league.
If standings remain as they are, Rays would face Yankees/Red Sox wild card series winner in ALDS.

The White Sox turnaround had been incredible. I thought they where about to wander the desert for a decade after that year they won 40 games.

As everyone knows, they need to move to Tampa. Instead of building a new stadium in the parking lot of the Trop. I lived in Clearwater which is in Pinellas County and still people don’t want to drive to St. Pete’s.

I don’t mind the trop. There’s nothing really wrong with it, but I’m not far.
I am looking forward to the new stadium. I’m sure it will be really nice.
Not sure if they’ll get the attendance numbers they want. Definitely more people in hillsborough will show, but they might lose some that came from the south (Manatee/Sarasota), along with Pinellas. They’ll probably draw more from Pasco and Polk, but nobody really wants to be around that.
We do know that if they don’t draw big crowds, you’ll be an hour away talking shite about how the rays should move, because nobody goes to their games.
