Had this one already saved up knowing we weren't coming back home and losing, that and I've had my fair share at the AAC. One more before sending crybaby Evason back to home for the summer
After a long night of drinking and enjoying a solid arse win, some nice ice cream back at home sounds DAMN good. And what goes great with that? Bunk...you already know...SPRINKLES...and we ALL know why...

I posted here 4-5 years ago the Flames were getting a new arena. Then it somehow fell apart. It looks like it's finally happening this time. There's a provincial election next month. So there will still need to be approval from government officials sometime after the election. But the framework is in place.

I knew it would get done. No way Calgary stands by while Edmonton has an awesome arena.
Eventually it was going to happen.
I remember following these different plans and a lot of the cost was in site prep, cleanup, revitalization. Lots of things adding to the pricetag other than just building an arena.
Good to hear for Calgary.
