they actually should have traded or just let peppers go. they have a decent enough DE rotation with Tyler Brayton, Everette Brown, and Charles Johnson. not household names but they get the job done. when they slapped the franchise tag on him they couldn't make any other FA moves. he doesn't want to be there so why keep him? they already have a bunch of DEs so they could have nabbed a good DT or CB in a trade or at least signed one or both with the cap room that peppers would have left. now they're going into the season with a horrific DT rotation and a nickel corner starting in Richard Marshall. Marshall would struggle to make even the Saints roster let alone start. he's horrible/

I agree with you where they desperatley need a DT. They probably should have drafted in the 2nd round. I disagree with you on Richard Marshall. I like him better than Lucas and he's certainly better than some of the guys New Orleans has. Hopefully some of the young guys will step up. Word is that Captain Munneryln their seventh round pick has looked good in practice going man to man with Steve Smith

The loss of Gary Gibbs and the edition of Gregg Williams makes our defense so much better. If our defense gets close to the top 10 then I think we coast to the South title.

We have the talent and should have a good scheme, we just need people to pick it up before 4 or 5 weeks into the season.

it has to be a gimmick play like a flea flicker or else i win no matter what also.
