Trout is overrated because everyone says he is the best player in the game and already a hall of famer which just isn't true on both counts
Bryant is overrated because everyone says he is the best 3B in the game but he isn't even a Top 3 3B IMO

i don't watch enough baseball now to know but Nolan Ryan is the GOAT overrated player. like by a country mile.

Lifelong Rangers fan who has two Arlington Stadium seats signed by Nolan sitting in my apartment but I agree, he was a strikeout pitcher. Scherzer is a poor man's Nolan Ryan basically

I think too many people think that by overrated I mean that they suck. That's not the case, I just think they are not as good as people say. Doesn't mean I think they are garbage.

Hes 1st among SS in RBIs, 2nd among SS in OPS, HRs WAR, wRC+, 3rd in slugging top 5 in average.
His defense has greatly improved this year.
Didnt quite reach expectations last year (was still very good) but rookie year and so far this year has lived up to his billing.
Also hes barely been talked about nationally because hes in Houston. If he was in NY, LA, Boston or Chicago theyd never shut up about him

Scherzer's 2015-present has been exceptional. Other than(maybe) when Kershaw is at his peak, I don't think anyone else comes close when those 2 are at their peak....and when he's on he may be harder to hit than Kershaw. Of course overall, it's Kershaw. Now, Scherzer does have a home run problem, but that doesn't negate everything else.
