Worse are the ones who pick out a certain golfer they hate and follow them to shout stupid shite as they tee off.

In my opinion, the course stewards should identify those people and eject them. As soon as people realize they get booted for that dumb shite, it would stop. And encourage other people to point out the ones doing it.

A true golfer can play with distractions. Like a good free throw shooter won't miss because of crowd noise. I don't think it's classy to yell but noise really shouldn't affect a "professional" golfer.
