With the 25 pick in the MSB Mock Draft the Tennessee Titans select:
Marcus Davenport, OLB, UTSA
Davenport isn't a P5 conference player but showed out at the Combine. Has great size (6'6, 264lb) and speed (4.54/40). Will need to develop another pass rush move at the next level but the Titans need someone who can rush the passer at the LBer position and we think Davenport is that man.

At some point, regardless of fandom, we are all going to have to acknowledge that this draft on paper is loaded with talent

This draft is insanely deep almost everywhere
Posted on 3/27/18 at 8:24 pm to Byron Bojangles III
very deep which is why i love what the colts did. And can only hope we can load more picks with a buffalo trade

Now in the real world I’d like the Saints to trade back and pick up a couple of 2nds and maybe a 3rd if a QB has dropped. That said...
With the 27th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft the New Orleans Saints select LEIGHTON VANDER ESCH, LB, Boise State University

Big, long and athletic. Has history of achievement with dominant performances and state titles in two sports in high school. Former basketball standout with fluid hips and smooth movement around the field. Almost no delay in his change of direction. Has agility and quick-twitch for sudden lateral bursts in his slides to close out slashers. Triggers with compact burst to the ball. Works under climbing blockers to stay clean. Easy sideline-to-sideline range as tackler. Has athletic ability to recover and tackle despite over pursuit. Widens frame and opens arms to welcome his prey as a tackler. Generally wraps up. Very talented in coverage. Quick but smooth in his drops. Mirrors quarterback's eyes with ability to redirect from side to side as he follows. Uses active, catch-ready hands to breakup the pass or take it away. Shows real rush talent and instincts as a blitzer. May have enough ability to beat a tackle as edge rusher from time to time.

He's been mocked to the Steelers right after us quite a bit. He's a good player.

Bestbank Tiger on the clock

Some saints fans aren’t gonna like that
Posted on 3/27/18 at 9:01 pm to Maximus
They probably want a DE or a DT not a slow white linebacker

Roger Goodell comes to the podium....

The Steelers desperately need help in the secondary. Without Ryan Shazier, the front seven can't hide the deficiencies at corner and safety.

Exceptional mirroring skills. Ultra aware in zone. Drives rapidly on the football and is aggressive at the catch point. Plays bigger than his smaller stature. Can thrive in any type of coverage due to football IQ and athleticism. Should go in Round 1.
