yeah, no pitcher has ever given up 2 runs in the 1st inning then gone on to shut a team down.

this won't last. Detroit won't be swinging at fastballs outside the zone all night. once they lay off and Hughes can't figure out his control they'll get to him. book it.

wow, Hughes looked good in one inning. Let's just assume he's going to roll through the rest of the game

Nova wasn't good in the first inning, but what did he do in the second? a double, then three straight outs. Terrible decision to pull him.
