I am one of those people who hate both teams and could care less about the whole series. If you asked me who I hate more I'd have to say to the red sox. I cant tell you how tired I am to hear red sox nation this and red sox nation that when I turn on the TV. Makes me want to puke.

This is how I feel about it. The games between the games are one thing, but what I really hate is the HYPE that ESPN and FOX overloads us with. AND, the argument that well this is what people want to see/hear about doesn't hold water for me. People in areas outside of NY and Boston mostly don't give a shite.

You may want to rethink that. Have you ever seen & heard the amount of fans they draw on the road? I'd be willing to bet that the home teams' largest crowds of the year happen when the Yanks or Red Sox come to town. Often times, there are more NY or Boston fans in attendance than the host fans.
Aside from the Cubs-Cards rivalry, there really isn't another that creates much interest.
