Good thing for NY is that Tampa and Bostons bullpens are just as bad as theirs is.

but watch out when Sabathia gets hot, especially if Burnett continues to pitch like he is

How do you feel about Niemann(sp?) tonight for the Rays?

To be honest, I've never really heard too much about him.

NY wishes they had Tampa or Boston's bullpen... At least then you would have players who have produced and know they will turn it around.

Dude was a complete stud when he pitched for Rice a few years ago, but Im not quite sure if he is ready for the majors yet. Hopefully his last start was a fluke b/c of nerves. If not, they should send his arse back down and bring up Price

Boston's? Yes. Tampa Bay? Their pen was total shite until last year. Let's see if they can keep it up first.

Typical of a Indians fan to be excited after one win.

it is actually 2 wins in a row. have the angels done that yet this year? maybe once? either way we have the same amount of wins as them this year. i dont think the angels have dominated a game or scored near that many runs either

Dude you guys played the Yankees in a midweek game. Just like Manieri, Girardi doesn't put much effort into winning midweek games.

I will say it once again...it is the freaking Yankees bullpen. Do not get excited. That's like beating up a quadriplegic or rushing for 250 on the Colts...not really something to brag about.

we were hitting CC pretty well and drawing walks to get his pitch count up and get to the NYY bullpen which is a big deal
he got out of some pretty big jams.

this is the most illogical argument of all time.
so you are saying the yankees had no desire to win the opening of yankee stadium when they are already behind in the division race. ok that makes tons of sense

if this is the case, steinbrenner/cashman need to get rid of him asap and get a legit manager like i dunno mike hargrove
