Wall will still make more money than all of them next year in the NBA.
I guess he gets the final laugh.

I was surprised Kige didn't make the cut.

I'm sure he will. But if he ever suffers a career-ending injury, there's about an 75% chance he'll be penniless within a few years.
WVU's Joe Mazzulla, on the other hand...
quote:
Mazzulla is a multidisciplinary studies major, minoring in three fields: Spanish, business and sport and exercise psychology. With the help and advice from his academic advisor, Erica Wycherley, Mazzulla decided to increase his workload in the classroom in order to graduate a semester early.
“You’re here all throughout the summer and during the school year,” Mazzulla explained. “After talking with my advisor, I thought it would be best to get done with my undergraduate school right away and get started with graduate school in January.”
He'll have his Master's Degree by the time he runs out of eligibility.

Let's see who's laughing ten years from now.

Not that money is everything but since you guys brought it up. Wall will likely make more money in his first contract than Mazzulla will in his entire life. If he makes it to his second contract without a career ending injury he will make more money than West Virginia's entire team combined.

And if Wall is like the majority of NBA players he will be broke 5 years after retirement, no matter how much he makes.

Pretty funny, but I like John Wall. Seems like a kid with a good head on his shoulders.

last laugh, this isn't the NBA. This is about going to the final 4. Not everything in life esp college sports is about being rich. Thats we wvu won, we had a team who was an actual team not a bunch of stars who were put together

Money will never change the fact that Mazulla kicked his arse.
